The pandemic conditions we have been experiencing for some time have once again reminded us of the significance and importance of Health Sciences, and have raised society's attention and interest in health-related studies to the highest level. This places even greater responsibility on all of us as healthcare professionals. Academic studies in the health field require a strong foundation of knowledge and practical skills. Institutes of Health Sciences hold an important place in developing research infrastructure and training researchers in this field.
We aimed to increase interaction among our students studying in different programs at our Institute, our faculty members, and our external stakeholders, to enable them to work as teams, and to enhance interdisciplinary collaborations. In this way, at our Symposium, the first of which we planned to hold on April 28-29, 2022, with the aim of ensuring that theses and scientific research conducted in our graduate programs—which we believe are already strong in terms of R&D—contribute to societal benefit, we would be delighted to welcome you among us.
